On the 16th of March, the participants of the UUE had the opportunity to ask the First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko relevant questions. The co-owner of K.TEX, Andriі Mykytіv, also attended the meeting, since the company is an active member of this business community.
The event discussed topical issues for business, including tax reform, total deregulation, involvement of the business community in the development of European integration legislation, elimination of infrastructure monopoly and punishment of officials for putting pressure on entrepreneurs. Overall, the meeting between business and government was a constructive dialogue that promoted business development in Ukraine.

The representative of K.TEX confirmed his readiness to cooperate with the authorities to improve the growth conditions for the industry.
In his speech, Andrii Mykytiv outlined the importance of the government’s efforts to identify sectors of the economy in which our country can have a strategic advantage and which could play a significant role in the development of Ukraine.
He asked to pay attention to the area of primary processing of bast crops to obtain renewable and environmentally friendly raw materials, such as:
– cellulose fibres for textile production;
– nonwovens and biocomposites;
– shives for the needs of the construction industry, livestock, agriculture, etc. та ін.
Andrii Mykytiv also reminded us that bast crops have played a leading role in the global economy for centuries and largely formed the economy of the northern regions of Ukraine in the 20th century.
