K.tex began its journey in 2003, focusing on the production of synthetic thermally bonded materials for the furniture and apparel industries. The company’s early steps included the launch of new production units, which enabled an expansion of its product range. During this period, K.tex started manufacturing packaged “ball” fillers, wool-based fillers, and needle-punched materials. From the very beginning, the company demonstrated strong capabilities and bold ambitions.
During this period, K.tex structured its product range around two key sectors: the furniture industry and the apparel industry. Each material was tailored to meet specific performance requirements, enabling clients to bring a variety of projects to life. A dual-layer filler was developed for furniture applications, along with a signature filler that reduced material consumption by up to 30%. The apparel sector benefited from high-quality insulation materials, including silicone and sewing fillers, which helped establish the company’s strong position in the market.
This period marked a turning point with the launch of the unique Slimtex® insulation, which quickly gained recognition across Ukraine. Slimtex® combines thinness, thermal retention, and ease of processing. K.tex began exporting products under the K.tex and Slimtex® brands to international markets. At the same time, the company introduced the Dortex® brand, which brought together advanced geosynthetic materials for landscape design, road construction, and slope reinforcement.
K.tex introduced the European-quality insulation Hollowsoft® and the modern mattress filler Hardfiber®. The company also launched the production of filtration materials under the K.tex brand. State-of-the-art quilting equipment made it possible to optimize the production and distribution of insulations and fillers, opening new opportunities for collaboration with clients.
The company began producing spunbond-based products under clients’ private labels and launched its own brand of disposable items, ODNORAZKA®. It also established the next-generation insulation brand Termoloft®, and under the K.tex brand introduced “Synthetic Down by K.tex” — a material for puffer jackets known for its softness, loft, and excellent recovery properties.

The company significantly expanded its sales team, product range, and market reach. Despite the challenges of the full-scale invasion in 2022, K.tex quickly restored damaged equipment and infrastructure. With the launch of a new production line in the city of Kalush, the company not only recovered its capacity but also increased it, enabling a rapid response to growing demand.
K.tex introduced the innovative brand Embertex® — flame-resistant materials that meet the highest safety standards. The completion of equipment modernization enhanced both production quality and efficiency. Achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification further confirmed the company’s high standards and opened new opportunities for expanding its presence in EU markets.
