K.TEX, one of the leading manufacturers of nonwovens in Ukraine, has launched a charity initiative called – «IDP Package».
During the occupation of Irpin in February-March 2022, the factory was partially damaged during numerous shootings and a fire caused by a direct mine hit, but in May 2022, production was resumed by the team. This is possible thanks to a dedicated team of like-minded people and the awareness of the need to regain the industrial potential of the de-occupied Irpin city, as the entire national economy stands on the shoulders of all Ukrainian businessmen.
The company’s employees have experienced the challenges faced by the IDPs, who are in a difficult situation and need help in providing even basic household needs, as some of our colleagues were forced to seek shelter in other regions of Ukraine during the occupation.
By October 2022, 4,800,000 internally displaced persons were registered in Ukraine, and 5,670 places of compact residence were organised for them in various regions of Ukraine.
That is why, on the eve of winter, our employees, wanting to share warmth with those who need it most, came up with such a meaningful idea – the «IDP Package».

The package includes a blanket and a pillow.
This is not a commercial initiative for K.TEX. We have taken part of our production capacity as our contribution to this humanitarian mission and started with manufacturing 500 such packages for IDPs in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine currently hosting IDPs.
With greater demand and orders, we will increase our production capacity, which will allow us to provide more IDP packages and create more than 20 additional jobs, helping to rebuild Irpin.
Regarding the «IDP Package» initiative, our company cooperates with the 911 Association public organisation and the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, which has signed an appropriate Memorandum.

«K.TEX calls on Ukrainian businesses, charity organisations, citizens and anyone concerned to join the initiative».
